Originally from Michigan, Jeff Scott Marshall is a cum-laude graduate of Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science and a Juris Doctorate from Thomas M. Cooley School of Law in Lansing, Michigan. He worked throughout college and law school including the Prosecutors Office in Detroit, Michigan. Before graduation, he was recruited to immediately start working in Tampa, fighting tirelessly for our most vulnerable populations as an Assistant Public Defender. He enjoyed the respect and responsibility of quickly rising to Felony Division Chief and later Senior Division Chief over all Hillsborough County Courts. After nearly 12 years as an administrator, manager, trial lawyer, training lawyer, mentor, and the many hats necessary to fight the challenges of persistent and zealous prosecution by the State of Florida, he decided it was time to start his own firm. He has been able to combine all of his experiences to make Tampa Legal Team a success.
Mr. Marshall has worked for the Michigan Pension Rights Project, Stillman Law Offices, Great Lakes Legal Group, the Honorable Kim Worthy, as well as under special contract with mega firms throughout the United States.
He is licensed to practice law in Michigan, Florida, and the United States Middle District Court.
As a trial lawyer, Mr. Marshall's practice reaches several areas of law. When the cause is righteous, he wants to be on your team!
